New Store Item – Apple II Plus, Rev 7 RFI Motherboard

We’re glad to announce a new item in the ReActiveMicro Store:
The Apple II Plus, Rev 7 RFI Motherboard

The Apple II Plus, Rev 7 RFI Motherboard project is offered in several options. As assembled or kit, with and without ICs and DRAM, and in 93-series ROM (original) or 27-series ROM (not yet released). It is designed to be a replacement motherboard for your existing Apple II and II Plus. It’s an exact clone of the last revision Apple made, which includes all fixes and mods as well as RFI reduction enhancements.

The concept for this project is allow users to retire their existing Apple II/Plus board and rely on this new board for a modern, rock solid replacement while maintaining that original look and feel. It’s much simpler and less time consuming than a rebuild or to hunt for issues with your old board. And the high quality parts and sockets means this new motherboard will last at least another 40 years without issues. No more worry about intermittent issues from month to month.

Available now only $299.99 fully assembled, with all ICs. And in Kit form for only $225.00 with all ICs. Other options and pricing available.

Let Woz be a part of this project, to make updates to the hardware as well. 😉

Woz is very past Apple II anything he did. I’m very sure he won’t care or want to be part of any such project. However the invitation is always extended.

I know little about computers or even how they work and their systems. Cloning something is totally different than designing. So I’m pretty sure even if he wanted to do an Apple II project, I don’t think I could be of much help other than logistics and sales.
