This is the Phasor v1.0 from ReActiveMicro. It’s a 12 voice sound stereo music and sound synthesizer card. That’s TWICE as much as the Mockingboard. The Phasor can also emulate the Mockingboard for full compatibility. Comes assembled or in kit form.

Included is a 2 pin audio cable to connect with Apple II motherboard. Room for two optional SSI-263 speech chips.

This is the initial release of the Phasor and there is limited stock. First come, first served while supplies lasts. New stock should arrive in about 45 days, and once the initial rush is over we plan to have stock throughout the year. Your patience is appreciated with the wait during the initial release.

Description

Now you’ll finally be able to hear everything you’ve been missing in your favorite video games. Some products that use the Phasor (or Phasor set to Mockingboard mode) include Ultima III, Ultima IV, Ultima V, Sky Fox, Wiley Byte, Thunder Bombs, Lancaster, Under Fire, Music Construction Set, GuitarMaster, and Music Star.

It’s based on the latest version of the Phasor from AE. It’s 100% Phasor and Mockingboard compatible. We took this classic Apple II device, and modernized it. We added a 3.5MM Audio Jack to allow easy connection to an audio system, headphones, or to any standard amplified computer speakers. Also added is an input which connects to the motherboard of your Apple II and eliminates the need for the original internal speaker. Now you will finally be able to control the volume of your Apple II system! Every sound, whether it’s computer or Phasor related will come through your speakers. There are also 2 sockets open for the legendary SSI-263P Speech Synthesizer.

Works in any slot, but most programs look for the Phasor in slot 4. Also works on any Apple II clones, the Apple II, II+, IIe, and the IIgs.
