The RAMX128K is a plug-in RAM card designed to provide an extra 128KB of RAM for Apple II and Apple II+ computers. It is fully compatible and can replace other 16K RAM cards in slot 0. Saturn Systems later expanded on this scheme with their 128KB RAM card, providing 8 x 16KB RAM banks. The RAMX128K card can be made 100% compatible with the Saturn card (most Saturn clones are NOT). But we have added extra switches to control the Reset behavior as well as INH sharing between multiple boards. The RAMX128K also has LEDs to help show read/write status and bank access. If an Apple Language Card or other 16K RAM card is installed in Slot 0 then the recommendation is to remove it from the system and install the RAMX128K card in slot 0. You can also place one or more RAMX128K cards in other slots, which certain software (e.g Locksmith) can use.
